Privacy Policy
What this site is
runthisby.me is a personal, invitation-only system. It exists primarily so that the person who owns and operates it (the "Operator") can interface directly with their own AI assistant. The Operator may also personally invite a small number of individuals they know ("Invited Contacts") to use the assistant as part of existing arrangements with the Operator. It is not a commercial service, it offers no public accounts or sign-ups, and it has no users, customers, or subscribers beyond the Operator and Invited Contacts.
Who is authorized to use this site
No one except the Operator and the Invited Contacts the Operator has personally authorized may communicate with or use this website or any messaging channel connected to it. Every authorized user is personally known to the Operator and enrolled by explicit invitation. If you have not been invited, you are not the intended audience of this site and no service is offered to you.
Information collected
- From enrolled users (the Operator and Invited Contacts): the messages, requests, and content they send to the assistant (by SMS or through authenticated channels), their mobile phone numbers, and the operational records needed to run the system. Every enrolled person opts in directly, from their own phone or account; the step-by-step enrollment flows and the consent notice are documented at runthisby.me/opt-in.
- From anyone else: standard web-server access logs only (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp), retained for security monitoring. No other visitor data is collected, and no cookies or tracking technologies are used.
How information is used
Information is used for exactly one purpose: operating the Operator's personal assistant. That means delivering notifications, reminders, and assistant replies to the enrolled users who requested them, plus routine security monitoring of the server. There is no advertising, no analytics resale, no profiling, and no secondary use of any kind.
Mobile information and SMS consent
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or transferred to any third party or lead generator for any purpose.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Sharing
Personal information is not sold, rented, traded, or shared. The only parties that process data are the infrastructure providers required to deliver the service: the hosting provider, and Twilio, which carries the SMS between the system and enrolled users' phones. Each acts solely on the Operator's behalf and only to deliver the service. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
Retention and security
Data is retained only as long as the Operator needs it to run their assistant, is stored on infrastructure controlled by the Operator, and is protected by transport encryption and access controls. Access logs are rotated and expire automatically.
Children
This site is not directed at children and, being a private invitation-only system, collects no information from anyone other than its adult enrolled users.
Opting out
Any enrolled user can stop all SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by emailing support@runthisby.me. The enrollment and withdrawal flows are documented at runthisby.me/opt-in.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
